On January 5, 1979, a group of students were selected to be tapped into the National Honor Society. The Honorable Charles S. Robb was the guest speaker for the occasion. He expressed his views on the four qualities, character, leadership, scholarship, and service, neces- sary for induction into the National Honor Society. Below: Lt. Gov. ! } Notable Achievement This past summer Henrico was proud to have students selected to attend Boys’ and Girls’ State and The Governor's School for the Gifted. Ten Jun- iors and one Sophomore were selected through teachers’ eval- uations and community organi- zations. The time spent at the assigned college campuses for the activities proved to be a very valuable and memorable experience to all.
