YOU TAL... TREY USTEN Do you have something on your mind? Well, you are in luck because there are eight Peer Counselors on campus to help you dis- cuss your problems. This group began two years ago when the Black Heritage Task Force thought of a way of helping students with their problems. Peer Coun- selors have helped Fresh- men locate their classes on the first days of school and have been seen on WWAR. Many students applied to be Peer Counselors. Each one was personally screened and had a training period in which he had a role to play. Confidentiality is stressed: You can‘tell anything to them, but they will tell no one. The return- ing Peer Counselors were Jackie Brewer, Tracy Bridges, Martha Via, and Mark Vlahos. The new members were Ginny Har- wood, Sheila Naumann, Janice Robinson, and Rene Vaughan. Mrs. Stacia was an active and interested sponsor. So, if you need someone to lean on, go toa Peer Counselor. That is their business. “Gibson NNN NS SN 1 cam a ; : ea Peer Counselors: R.
