Rest From Books The second most important thing in col- lefae life besides hitting the books is free time. lt was there for the students who tound it - whether it was being with that faxorrte beau or rust reading a book all alone. The Student Union employed the use of the x ideo tape machine showing the latest ln Concert show or an old movie. The bicycle craze was in full bloom with bike racks filled to the brim and parking a bike a real hassle. The peddling artists sped up and down the hills to and from classes in the gay ninety's style, Sleep v that five letter word that no student gets enough of - consisted many times of rushing to class and grabbing that short duration of winks in micro-lab while the professor was not looking. The sleep schedule was often interrupted by a friendly card game that led into the wee morning hours, Free time was like gold.
