Q, Education may be defined as the systematic study of the problems. methods, and theories of teaching and learning. The objective of the Department of Educa- tion is to resolve these problems. demonstrate the methods. and explain the theories involved. The Department of Psychology is interrelated with education. An in- creased understanding of human behavior aids in the relationship between teacher and pupil. The curriculum in teacher education was developed for the purpose of preparing competent teachers for our elementary and secondary schools.
