Courses are offered in the areas , of textiles and clothing, foods and nutrition, family and child relation- ships, and housing and family econo- mics. A home management house and a nursery school serve as well-equip- ped laboratories for the students. 4 A Home Economics students are seen working in the Foods laboratory. Henderson State Missouri Teachers College The Division of Mathematics pro- vides study in a field that represents one of the oldest and most systema- tized bodies of knowledge. Through the inventive mind of man, math has become a logical structure of know- ledge that is a highly important part of our cultural heritage. This -division continues the study begun in Fundamental Mathematics, a basic course. Its primary obiective is the training of students in those areas useful to future teachers of math. Its secondary objective is the preparation necessary for further study in science, engineering, business, and other fields where mathematics plays an impor- tant role.
