Business ffhucatiun The main purpose of the Division of Business Education is the training of business teachers for the high schools of Arkansas. The division encourages its students to prepare for more than one specialized area. Screening of can- didates for teacher training is made on the basis of general intelligence, an in- terest in the profession, a willingness to render service. Other necessary qualifi- cations are an outgoing personality and enthusiasm for youth in directing their learning. The division cooperates in a follow-up program of its graduates, so that every business teacher may be rated periodically on professional growth and given supervisory aid for improve- ment.
