IN APPRECIATION We are dedicating the 1985-1986 yearbook to Mr. Robert Wallace for all his time and energy in developing Hemlock High School athletes into being the best they could be. Mr. Wallace attended Cass City High School participating in four major sports for four years. He lettered in all sports. He went on to attend Central Michigan University and received his B.S. and M.A. degree in physical education. In college he played football, basketball, and track. He signed on at Hemlock in 1961, as assistant varsity football coach, moving up to varsity head coach with an outstand- ing 134-47-2 record over a period of twenty-one years. He also was head coach of basketball and baseball. In 1974, 1975, and 1977 he was Class B Regional Coach of the Year. Bob and his wife Bea have two grown daughters and the Wallaces now devote much time to raising and showing registered Haflinger horses. Mr. Wallace was presented an award of appreciation at the fall banquet by Mr. Baumann. Mr. Baumann re- called Mr. Wallaces first days at Hemlock. We just want to say THANK YOU. MY YOU'VE CHANCED JUST A UTTLE!
