Dedication Mr. Vernon Guilford We, the class of 1975, dedicate this yearbook to a man who has given much to Hem- lock High School; Mr. Vernon Guilford. June, 1975 marks his retirement, and concludes a successful teaching career of twenty-eight years. Since he joined the faculty of Hemlock High School in 1947, Mr. Guilford has taught mathematics, science, and history. He has been a class advisor many times, National Honor Society advisor, and Varsity Baseball coach. Mr. Guilford's long and dedicated career will continue to be an inspiration to everyone at Hemlock High School. The way it was 3 A Special Thanks Mr. Adams Mr. Perryman We, the class of 1975, wish to give a special thanks to two people who we feel have contributed greatly to our life at Hemlock High School. Mr. Adams teaches in the Business department and has been our class advisor for the past two years. We could always de- pend on him to be around whether it was to help make a float, chaperone a dance, or discuss a problem. We've only known Mr. Perryman for a year, but have learned many things from him. He taught us to have faith and to keep trying even if you don't succeed at first. He was a constant example of what a little determination can do. This quote is from a song by the Carpenters, What lies in the future is a mystery to us all. No one can predict the wheel of fortune as it fall. It's true no one can predict the future, but with the experience we've gained from these two men, we know it will be bright and worthwhile after all. 4 Thanks again Mr. Adams and Mr. Perryman. As you look at the pictures, I'm sure you'll agree that every picture tells a story. We would like to thank our advisor, Ms. Kossayda, and the members of the yearbook staff, for the time and energy which they have put into this book. Without the combined effort of all, it never would have been possible. This is the end of a book, the end of a year, and for the seniors the end of high school. Even so, as you finish, you will soon begin another book, another year, and the future. Good luck to everyone, always. Debby and Brenda
