Faculty Hemingford High School's faculty numbered 16 in 1982-83 with two teachers new to the staff as the school year began. Newcomers to the high school faculty were Jamie Goffena (home economics) and Mary Stanton (business). After 31 years of service to the school district, Adelyn Headden (math) retired at the end of the school year. Mrs. Headden was honored by teachers, students and friends from the community at a convocation in May. A special Adelyn Headden Week was declared in Hemingford by Mayor Terry Clark in honor of Mrs. Headden's years of service to the community as well as to the school. 2 8
