jkelflfle Wishing to honor the newly formed DeAnza League. the League ot Friendship has been chosen as the theme of the 1960 Tahquitz. Each of the six league schools is saluted on a division page by a reproduction of its mascot and a brief paragraph on its history. On this page the Beaumont Cougar. the Fallbrook VVar- rior. and the Perris Panther are seen busily painting a If map of the DeAnza League. On the opposite page the Elsinore Tiger, the Hemet Bulldog. and the San Jacinto Tiger are working hard on the picture of our dedicatee. We hope that the spirit of friendliness and co-operation in which these mascots are working will be an example to the students ofthe DeAnza League and that our league vvill truly become the League of Friendship.
