President CHARLES KITTLE Boys League President We have every reason to be very proud of our Student Council this year. Among many activities accomplished were numerous pep assemblies, a very successful Homecoming week with a wonderful halftime ceremony and dance, and the organization of a Pep Club. A maior item was the attainment of a travel- ing Victory Bell between Hemet and San Jacinto, compliments of Santa Fe Rail- road and our own Boosters Club. As a community service, a canned foods drive was sponsored and the response to it was tremendous. This was the third year of the annual drive. The Council also formed a committee which devised the A.S.B. Constitution. The success of many of these activities can largely be attributed to Mr. Howerton's expert guidance. The fact that Hemet High School is looked up to ability to shoulder responsibilities was proved in the Council meeting in which A.S.B. President Calvin R.C.L.A.S.C. President.
