Boardgamers, Librarians Boardgaming Club, with its 23- member guild, elected Kevin Allen as president and Ken Beck as vice-presi- dent. They met on Friday's to exper- ience such games as Dungeons and Dragons, Top Secret and Champions. Their advisor was Mrs. Ann Larivee. Gaming Guild members: K. Allen, D. McNeill, C. Pritchett, T. Ryder, S. Anton- iello, J. Viertel, K. Strauss, T. Kodis, C. Bran- son, M. Yturralde, T. Emmons, T. Shearer, S. Nelson, K. Beck, M. Martin, H. Beck, D. Brierley, T. Windburn, C. Freeburg, D. Lit- tle, J. Nye, R. Hosey and D. Diplock. Library Club members: T. Gale, M. Stalnaker, K. Beebe, J. Chirco, A. Jessee, B. Dickerson, J. Murdock, C. Kosinski, J. Cox, P. Blessing, L. Baxter, J. Griego, V. Yazzie, M. Drapeau, and Dr, R. Freeland and Mrs. P. Owens ladvisorsl. Boardgaming, Library Club gg i ,W- Library Club, the oldest on campus, began in 1951 with Mr. Robert Freeland as its advisor. Purposes of the club included furthering interest of students in the library, inspir- ing interest in achievement of the library club, and improv- ing service of the library to Helix students and staff. Through various fund-raisers the club raised money to buy new books, magazine subscriptions, and a new globe. Dur- ing December they held their annual toy drive for orphans. The many toys they collected were taken to the Hillcrest Receiving Hospital.
