Pep Band P ovokes Selma! Spf' 1? Looking like men from the Mafia, and playing great music besides, the Pep Band came on strong, keeping Helix spirit at a high level. They played at all away football games and could be heard yelling to our team their new cheer, 'Beat their face.' They were also at all assemblies, pep rallies, and basketball games. Besides the good music they played, they could march and perform as well. They did a half-time show called 'A Salute to Sex' for a Grossmont J.C. game, and were also invited to play at a convention of refrigerator salesmen.
