And it was even more for the five girls who nervously stepped onto the football field from their 1973 Buicks, clinging to their escorts, anxiously awaiting the announcement. Suddenly the music stopped. The crowd stood mystified by the silence. The voice over the loud speaker proclaimed Linda Duffy Homecoming Queen for 1972. Tears of joy and happiness filled the air as Queen Linda received her royal crown and robe from last year's queen. Pam Faught. A B Decla e Students Rgflzrs This year's ASB proved to be very successful in making the Administration more aware of Student Rights. Under the leadership of Dan Faulk, many steps toward making Helix more student run were taken. The Student Symposium brought speakers to discuss student rights. Secretary Linda Duffy did an all-out job this year, including setting up the annual Nominating Convention. Randy Landis, our Vice President, also did a fine job.
