Chris, Doug Participate in Girls', Boys' State Ch ris DeGaetano I'm Doug Kroll and I attended the American Legion's Boys' State program in Sacramento. We acted out the basic steps of setting up a government similar to the federal government of the United States, involving the city, county and state levels. The contact with boys from all over California pro- vided an ideal situation for ex- change of ideas and new friend- ships. l'm Christine De Gaetano and I represented Helix at the twenty- sixth annual Girls' State held at the University of California at Davis from june twenty-third to july second. Girls' State was a unique program of learning about state government and an ideal chance to meet high school stu- dents from all over California.
