A pause to reflect on Helix tradition. A clean, aesthetically beautiful cam- pus is important to students. Located at the foot of a hill in west La Mesa on University Avenue, Helix maintains this kind of background. Helix was giv- en the honor of the Clean Campus of the Month Award, from the Grossmont District, for the month of September. Wide, paved walkways, green grass, trees, clean halls and freshly painted rooms are characteristics of the cam- pus. The personality of a school is apparent in its campus. Helix shows the Highlander pride in this, as in all things. Seniors enjoy the privilege of eating in the Senior patio Through these portals Quiet during the evening, the Administration Building bustles efficiently during the day.
