September 23 Bozeman got sat on by us at Bozeman Lots of k1dS went too and the reports were good' September 25 The class off1cers are mostly boys 1n sp1te of the supposed man power shortage Guess we have to make the best of what we have September 29 Kallspells rugged Braves went down w1th a thud before our Ben gals Keep It up k1dSl October 6 Butte played here and lt was an exc1t1ng game even 1f we d1dnt WIH Next t1me The H1 D1ve lS really tops Wlth 1tS new booths and decorat1ons October 13 Even though most of the Helena H1 students went to M1ssoula for the game we st1ll d1dnt w1n Swell trxp though hey k1ds October 20 We took an easy game from the Havre Pon1es to make up for our loss to M1ssoula October 28 Our snazzy Bengals came back w1th a bang to trample Great Falls all over the1r f1eld Thats really the stuff boys' November 2 Rosahe Coleman was crowned as Queen V1g1lante and Peg Bo1d as Crown Pr1ncess 1n the V1g1lante Coronat1on Ballots and subscr1pt1ons sold l1ke hotcakes the week before The ceremony was 1mpress1ve and would make a wonderful trad1t1on for our school It was really someth1ng to be proud of November 3 Boys Cand g1rlsJ were enterta1ned by a pep rally featurlng a hot game between the Fluffy Duffs and Powder Puffs w1th flag tw1rlers between halves Koh those struts and f1guresD The last football game of the season was ton1ght w1th B1ll1ngs Even though we lost we know our team IS plenty O K November 7 Roosevelt or Dewey? POllt1Cal campalgners had nothmg on HHS November 10 An 1mpress1ve Arm1st1ce Day ceremony was held today It was a spec1al tr1bute to Mr A J Roberts former pr1nc1pal mayor and fr1end of all The H1 D1ve was decorated Wlth red wh1te and blue for the dance to n1ght November 17 Those green Frosh changed color 1n the eyes of other students when the Frosh made such a success of the1r 31tterbug hop November 22 Serxous OJ sen1ors down to frlvolous frosh dressed up 1n the1r sad rags tot1ng guns and stomped around at the Sen1or Barn Dance Those boots old clothes and hay ipardon me strawh helped to make the dance a huge success N1ce go1n pardners' School closed today for Thanksgwmg vacatlon Turkey here we come' November 25 You could tell that the gxrls surely took advantage of the1r opportun 1ty because there was a swell turnout for the Rambow Dance More fun' December 1 Everyone went to see Ever Slnce Eve ton1ght The drama class really put lt over We were 1n stltches all n1ght How about some more?
