Mary Snowden, Sandi Haggerty. Underwater Fantasy was the theme of the Junior-Senior Prom which was created by Arlen Bergslien. Based on the Legend of Atlantis, it proved to be a very colorful and beautiful event. The large mural was painted in vivid colors depicting underwater life. Large, beautifulfish were swimming through an- cient ruins and delicate sea shells and ferns adorned the ocean ' s floor. To add to the beauty was a graceful oyster shell throne . The King and Queen sat on large pearls in the center of the throne . An interesting part of the prom was the refreshment table. This was an old sunken ship ' s hull lit by small lan- terns. The theme was made complete by having the servers dress as pirates. And of course, there was the usual treasure chest, overflowing with gold and jewels and care- fully guarded by a beautiful mermaid. This beautiful Underwater Fantasy will surely be remembered as a wonderful event. Janet Fitzgerald, Mary Snowden, Jill Huber r Arlene Bergslien
