Seneco History The first edition of the yearbook was a combination of both the school paper which was called the Hawker, and the yearbook which is now called the Seneca. It was started by the Senior class of 1941. This is its 20th anniversary. The yearbook was named after Seneca Park which used to be located where the school grounds are at the present time. This property was given by Dr. Ross Blood for recreational purposes. Seneca is an Indian name similar to the Indian names used by other local schools for their yearbooks. We hope to keep on publishing this yearbook and make many improvements as time progresses. -3-

s Dedication -9 We, the class of 1961, would like to dedicate the 1961 Seneca to Mr. Myron C. Knauff. Mr. Knauff has been not only a fine principal, but also a close friend to all of us. Without his guiding hand, we would not be able to receive our diplomas in May. Throughout our four years of high school he has helped us through the many trials and tribulations that we have had to face during this short, but most important period of our lives. Yes, Mr. Knauff, we thank you for being such a fine principal and friend. -2-
