One hundred twenty- five strong, we met the Sophomores with hearty enthusiasm which proved to be of little avail. However, we were far from disheartened so . . . We elected Peter Worden, presidentg Neil Penry, vice-president, Nancy Rich, yell leader, and Ruth Elaine Oakleaf, secretary-treasurerg and proceeded to tackle the work before us. We've donated our share of the athletes, scholars, and fun to old Healdsburg High, and nobody can say we haven't worked. Homework, teachers, exams, and all the rest that goes with high school life has been new and difhcult. We've managed to pull through, however, and are looking forward to being Sophomores this fall.
