This is a decade of confrontations between the United States and Russia, war in Vietnam, demonstra- tions to get out of Vietnam, and to end racial discrimi- nation, and assassinationls. The sixties bring a new sound in music, rock-n-roll, which is brought to light by an obscure British group who will reach the num- ber one spot - the Beatles. Men go to space, walk in space, then finally reach the moon. We become more aware of the world around us. These are the years of our childhood, something for everyone and some- thing to remember.
