CONRAD L NEWMAN, PRINCIPAL Mr. Newman graduated from Henry County Training School in May, 1951, and entered Alabama State University in June. He graduated from there in 1954, with an A.B. Degree in Pre-Law. In 1957, he received the equivalent of the B.S. Degree in English. He served as Principal of Rosenwald High School in Newville, Al. for ten years. In August, 1964, he received the M.ED. Degree in School Administration. After a term of service as Co-Principal of Headland Elementary School, Mr. Newman was appointed as Principal of Headland High School in 1975. He received the A.A. Certificate in school administration in 1976, and completed requirements for the ED.S Degree in School Administration from Alabama State University to be conferred in May, 1978. 19

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR Our Guidance Counselor, Steve Williams, graduated from high school at Bakerhill, Alabama. He then went on to Gulf Coast Junior College in Panama City, Florida, where he received the A.A. Degree. Mr. Williams received his B.S. Degree at Livingston State University with a major in Physical Education and a minor in History. He now holds the M.A. Degree in Guidance and Counseling from Troy State University. STEVE WILLIAMS 20
