German is not an easy language but Mr. Salton- stall explains it thoroughly in his classes. Using your hands is important as Dr. de Martinez explains Spanish customs and thelanguage. As I learned to communicate in a foreign language, I also leamed to communicate more effectively in my own language. The structure, mechanics, and relationships be- tween various languages also fascinated me. With a growing realization that commu- nications is one ofthe greatest problems in our complex world, I hope to contribute to solving that problem.
