Hazen Wrestlers send eight tc This yearas wrestling team qualified 'W' eight of its members for the Sub-district meet at the end of the season in a year y D full of many high points and low points. 7 The wrestling team was extremely lttti , ' H balanced with someone different win- ol ning matches every meet, No one either , lost or won all of his matches during 5? the entire season. Hazen's meets were very exciting with , if the matches often going to the last buz- y zer before the outcome could be assured either one way or the other, many times by only one point. Although short on personnel this season, all the members put out great effort during the year and with only four members graduating from this year's team, Highlanders can look for- , ward to a strong team in the seasons to come. Tim obbs goes on to the district meet- three others are alternates. As a result of the Sub-District meet at Kent-Meridian, Tim Nobbs advanced to the District meet at Puyallup, wrestling in the 127 pount weight division. In his final match of the Sub-District meet Tim decisioned Barclay of Mt. Rainier, 9-3, to enable him to go on to the District meet. Three other Hazen wrestlers were altemates to the District meet. They were: Tom Nobbs, 112 poundsg Dave Young, 154 poundsg and Steve Glisson, heavy- weight.
