Ahflfprk Secretaries redirce administrative headaches Working in the capacity of public relations aces or school nurses, each secretary proved to be a jack of all trades. When secretaries were not issu- ing tardies, selling lunch tickets, or accounting for school finances, they were typing or transcribing letters for the principals or superinten- dent. Silence seldom reigned over their offices. Aided by high school office girls , the secretarial staff kept HHS running smoothly. Fancy footwork by high school students who worked as aides eliminated any wasted time. BUDGETING federal funds, Mrs. Eloise Shedd also prepares students' records, grades, and transcripts.
