Administrators deal with pressing problems Keeping an ear to the ground, administrators worked with mem- bers ofthe community to assure that faculty and curriculum met the needs of the majority of Hazen stu- dents. Adding a parent volunteer pro- gram, Mr. Fred Iohnson, elementary principal, said, The efforts of these Volunteers and student aides ena- bled elementary activities to take on model school aspects. They were so successful, educators visited our school to gain new ideas. HEAD MAN. Favorites among his many moods, Superintendent Elbert Kizzia boosts the Hornets at the Hazen-England game, as- sists Terry Felts and Lisa Wylieg takes time out for a joke, and contacts community lead- ers to keep abreast of changing affairs.
