Tim Raines, is another outstanding ath- lete here at Haysi High. A junior, he has started on the Varsity football team for the past two years. He holds the halfback position. He is recognized for his agility in Track. His sprinting abili- ties carried him to the State competi- tion last year. He is a member of FCA and SADD. His future plans are to at- tend college and play football. Scotty O’quinn, is one of the outstand- ing athletes here at Haysi High. While being only a junior, he has been a start- er on the Varsity football team for the past three years. He dominates the po- sitions of linebacker and tight-end. Along with being an excellent football player, he also excels in basketball. He plays the forward position. He was also a starter on the baseball team last year. He played second base. He is a mem- ber of FCA and SADD. His future plans are to graduate from high school, then go to an Apprenticeship school and be- come a certified welder. —2 | | oe pee,
