Thy: aes ACADEMIC TOP TEN: Margaret Edwards, Valedictorian; Brenda Edwards, Salutatorian; Fonda Yates, Raetena Fink, Bob Kiser, Jackie Rose, Teresa Edwards, Tina Fields, Rita Fuller, Mary Hill, Mr. Miss Senior, Patrick Grubbs and Brenda Edwards, were chosen by the faculty. Brenda Edwards is the daugh- ter of Mr. Mrs. Carroll Ed- wards. Miss Senior this year has as much scholastic ability as she does achievement. Brenda is salutorian, president of Beta Club, and was chosen for the All American Band. Patrick Gruggs is the son of Mr. Mrs. Jim Grubbs. He has also received many honors in various clubs. He plays basket- ball and runs track. He re- ceived medals at BDD meet and was chosen Sprinter of the Year, ‘‘8I”. The Top Ten Seniors were chosen by their academic abil- ity. The Valedictorian held a 4.00 average; the Salutatorian was right behind with a 3.98. Class Officers were chosen by the Senior class as leaders during the year ’’8I-’’82.
