The guidance counselors have been influential in helping us plan our education and very patient through all the schedule changes. In order to keep our school running smoothly, Mr. Yates and Mr. Bartley set rules and guidelines and did their best to make each student to abide by them. On the other hand, they were always there to listen to everyone’s problems and help many students with their algebra. Through endless mornings of writing excuses and making last minute an- nouncements, they patiently stood be- side us. FACULTY FACES Within the framework of the Standards of Quality and local school board policy, teachers are at the liberty to help each student to achieve progress along the rocky road to education. Aside from the usual duties of teaching, activities like coaching, sponsoring clubs and forensics involve the faculty. Extra time is re- quired, but this goes into the formulation of a complete teaching staff. Even so, the whole point of being a teacher may be that gleam of understanding in the eye of a student that makes it all worth while.
