stunents Dieia “Administration” is a word of many meanings. To some it means assigned study halls and no more smoking in the bathrooms. But to others the Ad¬ ministration is the direction of all school-related activities. The chief figure in the smooth operation of the school is our principal, Mr. Erdman Mullins. Behind the scenes he handles parent con¬ ferences, faculty meetings, school board decisions, and the technical aspects of running a high school. In keeping with the smooth operation of the school, he has been open to student suggestions. Several new policies have been instigated, some of which are the new student handbook, up-to- date dress code, and the new 10-day attendance policy. Another key factor in the smooth operation of our school is our assistant principal, Mr. Finis McCoy. Always in a cheerful mood, Mr. McCoy assists with the numerous office difficulties, and yet still manages to relate to student problems. In addi¬ tion to his office duties and concerns, Mr. McCoy also teaches an English class. Mr. McCoy is always on hand to listen to com¬ plaints, to explain and help with problems, and to just generally be there when he’s needed. On behalf of the entire school, the students would like to let you know that we appreciate your help and concern. We sincerely extend to you the best of everything that life has to offer. • M JW .. - administration I guidance l Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Negatha Powers, is more than an advisor — she has been the friend that many students needed. As an advisor, Mrs. Powers listens to individual problems and offers her opinions and direction. As a counselor she is involved in student difficulties, and as a friend she is always ready to help or just listen.

It really takes a lot of determined effort to put out a successful yearbook. We’ve worked hard and we think it’s pai off. We’re very proud of our CREATION for 75. But we take even more pride in the fact that we had the privilege working with such a marvelous person as Mrs. Slusher. Without her, our CREATION would not have been poss ble. We certainly made our fair share of mistakes, but she was always there to help make them right again. An with her presence was always that wonderful sense of humor and genuine g low of warmth and understanding. S to you Mrs. Slusher we’d like to say: “Thanks” for putting up with us and for helping us make our CREATION a success. But most of all, THANKS FO BEING YOU. tUE I CUE UOI Kathy: As editor of the paper I would just like to say . . . Debbie: Wait Mi Slusher, I know if I think long enough I’ll be able to say “something” goc about you. Tony: Sorry can’t talk now, gotta finish this deadline. Sandy: f Mrs. Slusher, I’ve not gone beserk just because we’re a little behii schedule, I just like ink pens. Reva: You can’t make me say anything abo “her” and forfeit my “A” this six weeks. 16
