Spirit had been building up for the past week—just for this night. Corsages, poster making, pep rallies, and decorating for the dance gave everybody that “win- nin’ feelin’”. The homecoming court was chosen and the band was busy preparing their half time show. The team really put forth the effort and the half time score was 0-0. The five Seniors leaving can remember their last homecoming game with pride. Coach Kiser kept the spirit alive .... and like a dream come true .... 14-6 . . . WE WON!!!! UP, UP, AND AWAY!! Not tonight, Titans, Not tonight!! Umm, Umm, Good!!

Practice for the band began early in the year, as newcomers learned and the experienced tried to remember. H.H.S. Marching Band Revived Mr. Bruce Rush, the new director, has really gotten the band in shape and back on its feet. This is the first year in AGES that the band has been playing and marching at the football games. This year they also performed in the Xmas parade and other activities, led by head majorette, Sandy Presley.
