A lot goes into the preparation of a yearbook: time, patience, and a lot of thought. In this volume we have attempted to record not only names and facts, but all the little events that made the ’72-’73 school year a memorable one. Every individual who aided in the making of this year¬ book has contributed part of his time and part of himself. We would parti¬ cularly like to thank: Mr. MacIntyre, our photographer. His originality and advice helped us gain experience and increased our confidence in ourselves. Mr. Neal Watson, HI, the American Yearbook Representative, who of¬ fered valuable suggestions and gave freely of his time to help us. He demonstrated a remarkable patience which we will always remember. Mrs. Nancy Ruffner, intermediate II sponsor, who saved us costly hours. Her efforts resulted in a beautiful 1 j contribution to the yearbook and an appreciative staff. Thank you. Mr. Bill Clay of Delmar Studios, who took the pictures of the underclass for us. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marler, who helped us through many a deadline crisis, and provided our candids for us. We would also like to thank Ed Collins for taking time out from his busy schedule to design the hawk artwork on our divider pages. We took the design from him before it was even dry. Mrs. Virginia Thomason, faculty advisor. Faced with a card-playing editor and a do-nothing associate editor, she always showed faith in our ability. She encouraged us in difficult times and her knowledge and suggestions aided us immeasur¬ ably. We thank you. Finally, the staff itself. During the year they all expressed doubts that a yearbook could actually be formed from such a haphazard, unorganized group. They begged (and sometimes stole) pictures from each other, worried over approaching deadlines, and thought of quitting. They con¬ tributed the most; they thought about each paragraph, each page heading, and what size each picture should be. They genuinely cared about this book, and to them we are the most grateful. We would like to thank Mr. Herbert Lelansky for many sports candids which again, saved needed hours.
