Before leaving Florida we stopped at a large filling station for gas. There we saw Melvin McVicker. He informed us that he owned a chain of gas stations all over the world. From all appearances he is doing a very prosperous business. We then went to the State of Texas, city of Dallas. We decided to stay at a dude ranch. We found it was managed by Dixie Hubbard. At the ranch we met Gan- land Bodeman. He told us he had discovered oil in Texas and was really coining the jack. nMoney Bags Bodemanu they call him. He has just divorced his fifth wife and says he is just looking around now. Leaving Dallas we went to Mexico City to watch the bull fights. Just as we arrived at the stadium, matador, Lyle Downs, entered. His assistant was Devona McKillip. After the fight we visited with them and Devona said that she went in the ring cmcasionally. She said that Lyle could really throw the bull. From Mexico we flew across the Atlantic to Paris, France. While doing sons shopping in a famous Paris dress shop we met Virginia Jirik. She said since she had enjoyed Miss Green's home ec. class so much she decided to take more work in that line. She is now one of the most famous suit designers in Paris. Next we went to Holland. As you remember that is a country where ice skating is very popular and to our surprise we met Wayne Hastings. He had just finished putting on an exhibition of ice skating. He said that he had discovered his ambition through an unusual incident in his high school days. Next stop was Rome, Italy. While we were surveying some of the old ruins of Rome, we met Roland Anderjaska. He told us that he was an archeologist and was engaged to a beautiful Italian girl. Both have learned to speak Latin, which is a Romance language. Although Latin is considered a dead language both Roland and his fiancee agree that it is far from dead. Crossing the blue Mediterranean we landed in Egypt. Just as we arrived at the air port we saw a long camel caravan. We were astonished to see Jim Garrett driving them. He said he had given up life in the United States and settled doua in Cairo. He says he wouldn't trade his camels for any car in the world. Leaving Egypt we journeyed to Turkey. We were invited to spend the evenhg with the Marharaja of Saudi. After the feast which had been prepared for us, the entertainment began. You can imagine our surprise when we saw Wanda Hastings was one of the dancing girls. Later when we were talking to Wanda she told us she had taken up entranced by her Our next stop a herd of cattle he once thought dancing and came to Turkey. There she met the Marharajag he was dancing and had made her his number one wife in his harem. was Calcutta, India. There in the middle of the street we saw and in the midst of the herd was Wallace Allison. He said that he would be happy if he never saw another cow, but after a few years without them,he became so lonesome for them that he moved to India, where he now has the largest herd of cattle in the country. The blond girl with him could be no other than Carol Rucker. We then flew to Shanghai, China. Walking along the street we saw a sign, June West's Mortuary. We couldn't feature June in this kind of an occupation, We immediately entered and found out the answer. She said she hadn't started out to be a mortician but due to a mix up inc curses she now was, After she fin- 1Sh6d high school she signed up to be a beauticianghowever they thought she had said mortician. When she told them differently they wouldn't refund her money, so she took the course. She said she was doing a thriving business.
