Wil We, the Senior Class of '55 in order Lo show our appreciation to the Hayes County High School, and to pass on to others what he have possessed, to hereby make, bequeath and leave thos our last will and testament. To the Faculty we leave our sincere gratitude for all the time and effort exr panded in our behalf. To the Juniors we give back all offices and positions of importance, along with our seats in the study hall.To the Juniors also we leave the argumentatiax and heated debates connected with class parties, selecting invitations, cards, and announcements. We hope Mr. Hanley still has some patience left to deal Wiul you next year at class meetings, as we are sure that we have strained his tempe- to the breaking point with our bickering. ll bequeath to the Sophomores our aptness for getting to school on time and becoming quiet immediately at 8:30. To the Freshman we leave our conscientious efforts h1trying to gdsour assigns ments finished by class time. We know from experience that the adage nbetter late than nevern doesn't always work. Rodney Leffler wills his attentiveness in class to Jim Leeg his snooker cue to Melvin McV1cker3 his little black address book to Ralph Anderson and his golf technique to Mr. Harder. Janice Felker wills her diamond ring to Berdine Carr, her ability to get in early to Marjorie Ring and her romantic ways to Wanda Hastings. Phyllis West wills her way with out of town boys to Estalene Jghnsong her type- writer and all typing class sessions to Dean Mintlingg her Japanese pajamas to Mrs. Counce and her giggle to Miss Chapin. Leland Messersmith wills his jeep to Joe Nitschg his walk to Ethylee Cox and his peaceful minded attitude to Wallace Allison. Delmar Richter wills his Imperial girl friend to Roland Anderjaskag his height to Garland Bodeman and his pockets full of money to Donnie Curran's flat billr fold. Richard Greeley wills his safe driving habits to Gene Venhausghis sense of hum- or to Kaye Carmin and his ability to get to school on time to Mr. Fanning. Swede Rader wills his athletic ability to Donald Paulsong his ability to do as he pleases to Mary Ann Soncksen and all oranges swiped from the Home Ec. Room to Miss Green. Jim Alexander wills his way with girls to Jack Bishop and his report card to Wayne Hastings. Naomi Tidyman wills her quiet ways to June Westg her dimples to Bonnie LaShellg and her glasses to Larry Hamilton. Clifford McGregor wills his Chevie to Lyle Downsg his bashfulness to Devona McKillip and his American Government book to Shirley Laird. Wilma Palic wills her interest in Culbertson boys to Virgin a Jirlk.
