Senior Class Prophecy In the year 2000, the seniors one Saturday morning, while sleeping their way through the cartoons, found themselves transformed into the two-dimensional characters of the screen. The scene opens in a small mountain town in which an art theft has just taken place. The town was devastated by the loss, and Detective Cluseau (Tom Heimforth) has been called in to recover the invaluable art treasurer missing from the Artesian Art Museum. Artesian Curators Cris Hellyer and Ray Potts were quoted as saying, “1 don't think it was the water! They both agreed that only the Pink Panther (Alex Boyd) could have managed the dastardly deed. Little did they realize how quickly the plot thickened. While Cluseau was in hot pursuit of the Pink Panther, the stolen art piece had already exchanged hands. The Pink Panther gave it to Blondie (Kellie Friedl) who made a handsome fortune selling it to cartoon man-of-the-world Ziggy (Jon Sundberg), Ziggy paid the exhorbitant price, as he knew that he in turn could resell it for a tidy sum to the very respectable rabbit Thumper (Elsie Manzanares). On the way to her underground gallery, however. Thumper is crept up upon by the the Cheshire Cat (Kelly Cobb) who, aware of the value of the missing piece, hoping to grin it away from Thumper. In turn Thumper plays her own little game of cat and rabbit, but after a few hours decides to ditch the art piece in a cave. What she doesn't know is that the cave belongs to Captain Caveman (Jerry Delay). He is busy either chasing Chip (Nancy Watts) and Dale (Kim Ellis) around the cave for stealing his nuts and yelling CAP- TAIN CAVEMAN! or chasing that gun slinging master Yosemite Sam (Bill Hayes) off his territory. Meanwhile, Missy Piggy (Roxie Dorrell) and her companion, the Tasmanian She-Devil (Vona Langstaff) steal the treasure and turn it over to Warlord Bob Hayes. However, Blackstar (Rick Troutman) together with his allies Clone (Norman Yoast) and Mara (Nanette Mauth) connive to get the stolen item back and give it to the Smurfs for safe keeping, the leaders being Smurf Bob Orvalla and Smurfette Gayle Hanson. While Blackstar Troutman is having a fight with Warlord Hayes and 10 other Craigites, Clone Yoast retrieves the piece and accidently leaves it in the entrance way to the cave. Pepe Lepew (Dana Gingrich) sneaks it away with her assistants Popeye (Ron Doolin), Olive Oil (Deneen Pourier) and Sweet Pea (Lila Hall) in hopes of finding another profitable buyer. In their search, they encounter Sylvester (Pete Spitellie) who is busy trying to get Tweety (Cathy Janssen) for his snack, but not making progress at all due to Granny (Barb VonBergen) who is too handy with her broom. Since Popeye, Olive Oil and Sweet Pea can't manage to get Sylvester or Tweety's atten- tion, they went to the castle of Prince Charming (Cody Sweetser) but they also caught him at a bad time as he was judging a race between Speedy Gonzales (Rick Lucero) and the Roadrunner (Abey Ward). The race was a tie and Snow White (Becky Keller) presented the winners with a trophy and a kiss. Not getting any satisfaction there, the three continued on their way. They came upon Bugs (Scott Rienks) Bunny enjoying a leisurely lunch of carrots and were about to approach him with an offer he couldn't refuse, when he had to excuse himself as Wylie Coyote (Mike Rigas) had booby-trapped his carrot patch. They finally found their buyer in Bedrock. Fred Flinstone (Glenn Daniels) and Barney Rubble (Wendell Criswell) were enjoying a game of bowling at the Bedrock Lanes and being short of a pin, decided the art piece would do. However, just as Barney Criswell Rubble was about to send his bowling ball smashing down the lanes toward the priceless object, Alex Pink Panther Boyd leaped upon the lane and snatched away the Artesian Museum's treasure — the first beer bottle opened at the 1982 Senior Graduation Party.
