Here I sit, in my big study room, musing over the future of my classmates and myself. What will become of all of us? Will we ever all be together again? How I hoped we would. I stared at the mirror on my wall and it seemed all at once to turn into a crystal ball. What is this I see? It is the year 1971, and lo and behold we are holding a class reunion at a Dude Ranch in Colorado. What is that name, I see. Olympiade. Ah yes, it is clearer now. I see it all. Billy Rogers has invented a Tiger Interplanetary Sputnik, in remembrance of old times. He is going to conduct the class of 1961 to their reunion at Hayden, Colorado. The interplanetary line has requested that Pam Baird be the Sputnik stewardess. Of course, she has been head stewardess iq the Mars Line since she graduated in 1961. Our first stop is just west of Moscow where we picked up Barbara Smith. She is a four star general leading the march against Mr. K. On the way over we spot the Reverend Scott. He has been shipwrecked in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We stop to pick him up and he urges us to hurry as he wishes to tell General Smith, War is not the answer. Next stop is Alaska where Janet Johnson is teaching English. While we are taking a tour of Alaska, we find that George Wixson is head of a new housing development. We come to a little town and being hungry, we go to the grocery store; and here we see Garry Mosher, the owner of The Alaskan Mercantile. We then journey to Anchorage, Alaska, where we find Karen who is the private secretary of the president of a large fish hatchery. Then we journey to Washington where Larry Mosher owns his own trucking line. After we pick him up, we go to Montana to pick up the successful sheep rancher, Charles Weaver. Then we blast off to New York to pick up Barry Johnson who has become a successful accountant. Then on to Maryland where Terry Allen is the coach of the Baltimore Colts. He tells us that he is sure his team will win the championship this year. We are soon on our way again, and the next stop is Connecticut. We pick up Professor Phebe Youngman where she is teaching at Yale. Then we fly across Eastern United States to Colorado where we see Bill Williams driving one of his own trucks to Hayden for our reunion. Our goal is in sight. Miss Joice Cozzen's Guest Ranch. Here we wait for Chuck Turner and Darrel Hockett to join us. Chuck, who is coaching in our new gym has married and has two sets of red-headed twins. Darrel Hockett is a successful wheat farmer. He owns 27, 000 acres of farm land. After everyone has arrived, we take off for the Winter Olympics in Steamboat Springs for the day. We spend a few enjoyable days on the ranch and we are all taken back to our homes where we continue our work. Soon the figures in my crystal ball vanish, and I find I am sitting here in my own home. Oh! how I hope this is the way it will be in the year of 1971. Compliments of HAYDEN RECREATION Hayden, Colorado
