Athletic, witty, and full of fun, he's made a friend of everyone. Richard C) ass JJrop )ecij Time - 1968 Place - Class reunion dinner at the Cosgriff Hotel, Craig, Colorado You know this is the first time we have all been together since our high school days. It seems so odd how one drifts away from his classmates in such a short time. Let's start by Robert telling us what he has been doing. Robert Do you remember what a shy fellow I was in high school? Well, I soon got over that. I went to an agricultural school and for the last four years I have been a guide at Mesa Verde National Park. Now Isabel, it's your turn. Isabel You've had a full and interesting life but so have 1. I decided while in Denver to go to Barnes Business School and at the present I am working for a large corporation in New York City. Now, Jim, let’s hear from you. Jim You both have interesting jobs, but I am satisfied with being a farmer. I have one of the nicest farms in Routt County. You must all come and visit me, if you have the time, and meet my wife who none of you know since I met her while at a farmer's conference in Salem. And now you, Annie. Annie I went on to school and became a stewardess for United Air Lines. I enjoy it very much but my most important job is keeping house for my husband Tony, whom you all met while we were in high school. Now, Sonny, what have you been doing? Sonny After graduation I went to Greeley where I took up coaching and metal work. I am now coach in Colorado Springs and do art metal work as a hobby. I am married to my home- town sweetheart and we have a littly Sonny Jr., don't we, Beth? Beth I should say we do and we are proud of him although it keeps me busy keeping house for my family. Before my marriage I went to Business school. I enjoyed it very much but not as much as being housekeeper for my wonderful family. Let's hear from you, George. George You all know how much I liked sheepherding, even in high schooL Well. I now own the best sheep and the largest ranch in Colorado. It's really a full-time job. Now, let's hear from Barbara. Barbara Well, my ambition was to be a teacher and I finally made it. I am now teaching math in the Moffat County High SchooL It's your turn now, Duke. Duke I joined the Air Force after graduation and have made it my career. Since my marriage to Peg we have both traveled together to many interesting places, haven't we Peg? Peg We sure have. I went to school and majored in foreign languages which hds made our trips much more interesting. What have you been doing, Melva? Melva I went on to school and finally became a history teacher. I really like my work but not as much as I will enjoy housekeeping, for I am getting married to Pat next month. And now you, Alfonso. Sponsored by - TRI-STATE LUMBER COMPANY, Hayden, Colorado Alfonso You all know how much I enjoyed sports. Well, I am now a professional basketball star and wouldn't trade my present life for any other. Let's hear from you, Josie. Josie I'm different from the rest of you because I got married right after graduation. Pat and I are father and mother of twins. Although they keep me busy 1 always have time to go to games which Pat coaches. Now, Larry, how about you? Larry I spent eight long years going to school, but have finally become a doctor, my lifetime ambition. I have set up practice at Idaho Springs where one of our classmates is a nurse. Right, Linda? Linda You sure are. I am now married but work at the hospital in my spare time and when an extra nurse is needed. Now, before we disband, let's all resolve to have another reunion five years from now so we may have another good time together.
