Class Prophecy As we struggle up the gangplank, practically buried under mountains of luggage, we are greeted by a smiling steward who cheerfully relieves us of our burdens. From what we can see of him, his broad shoulders are enough to identify him as Albert Sena. Our ship is the U. S. S. Gerrymandering and has a very capable crew. As we sit down to a dinner in the ship's dining room, our attention is called to a very overbearing passenger who is giving a waiter a bad time. An investigation proves that the passenger is Fil Salazar, a sheep herder, who is on his way to Australia for a vacation. The poor waiter is Joe Prewitt. Joe became attached to the ship while he was installing some electrical appliances and stayed on as a waiter. From Joe, we hear about a romance between the ship's doctor, Jim Montieth, and his nurse, Jean Ryan. We stop over in England, and during a tour of Buckingham Palace we find Norma Wyers employed as a maid-in-waiting for Queen Elizabeth. Boarding our ship once again, we cross the English Channel to France. One of our fellow passengers is Dorothy Zulian who is on her way to Le Mans to enter a sports car race. Her mechanic is none other than Bill Osborn. Also on her way to Le Mans, is Jo Ann Sellers who's finally parted company with Hickamer. She threw him over for a low slung Jaguar and is planning to give Dorothy some competition. Kathleen is a beauty operator in Paris. One of her frequent customers is Gorgeous George. As we leave the ship on a shopping trip, the person just ahead of us looks vaguely familiar. It is Mac Warrick on his way to another Geneva conference. Also in Switzerland is Janet Leslie who is now giving yodelling lessons to Saint Bernards. Once more aboard our ship, we steam out for the Suez Canal. A commotion arises as we near the Rock of Gibraltar. Miss Pidge, better known as Sally Green, has fallen overboard trying to rescue her canary. We are entranced by the sight of a beautiful mermaid luring sailors by her singing. On closer view, we find it is only Glenda Tabb selling French postcards. Max Dufford is selling lingerie on the French Riviera and, from him, we hear that Janice Turner recently won the Miss Universe contest in Rome, Italy. On a lay-over in Rome we find Floyd Zulian selling old marble blocks for souvenirs of Rome. He has his own stone quarry. A mysterious passenger has been puzzling all of us. We are astounded to discover it is the famous movie star, Quenton Parker, who is traveling incognito. From him we find that Donna Conyers is in Hollywodd taking care of Roy Rogers' and Dale Evan's Children. Stanley Breshears boards the ship at Hawaii. He's on vacation from H. U. H. S. He hasn't graduated yet. Also coming on board at Hawaii are Don and Beverly who finally found enough money to take a honey- moon. Beverly has a cablegram from Maxine Mosher saying she finally settled down with Ed. In Hawaii, we find Janet Rogers who is the possessor of a crystal ball. Through the ball we are able to see what our former teachers are doing. Miss Curtis: On location in Egypt, working on Something Sphinx. Her pup, Rip, has grown up and is almost as famous as Lassie. Mr. Murphy: Announcer for Radio Free Europe. Miss Lien: The cook on our boat. Mrs. Annand: United States Ambassador to Russia. We always knew her winning smile could be put to better use. Mr. Johnson: President of Harvard University: spends his free time taking photos of eminent persons for the New York Times. His work is in great demand. Mr. Parsons: On location at North Pole. He is a technical advisor for the MGM production, The Parsons Story. Mr. Sprout: Director of the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra on tour in Germany. Mr. Reagan: Government Auditor. What happened to the assets? Paul: Retired and making brooms instead of pushing them. Mrs. Harrigan: We aren’t surprised to find Mrs. Harrigan has attained the rank of Sergeant in the French Foreign Legion. Her drummer-boy is Mr. Harrigan, better known as the Spirit of 1776.
