I LINDE'S SERVICE STATION Hayden, Colorado PROPHECY It was about seven years after I graduated from high school that I was working on my new radar screen, trying various connections when I accidentally hit on one that projected me three years into the future. I was amazed to find myself looking into the lives of my former classmates. The first one I saw was the life of Dorothy Mullen and I had a good laugh. The reason was she had a set of triplets and she always said she was going through business school and make lots of money and buy lots of clothes. Clara Nell is now an undertaker. Her husband is temporarily out of work. Ronnie Gilland is one of Hayden's most prominent and successful wheat farmers. He is happily married and has four children. Inez Wilson is the Supervisor of Nurses at Colorado Springs. like most nurses she has successfully combined marriage with a career. Judy Bershinsky is teaching dancing lessons at Arthur Murray's Dancing School in Denver. A Mr. Sheridan of Steamboat Springs is one of her regular students. Charlene Summer is still working for the telephone company in Denver. It surprised me that she wasn’t married. In high school she always seemed to have a way with the boys. Bennie Mosher is an accountant for the General Motors Corp. and Elsie Gonzales is his secretary. Orlan Schafer is now editor of his own printing shop putting out the weekly Tramp Courtier. John Gingrich is chief mechanic at the Texaco filling station in Hayden. Dennis Temple owns a big sheep ranch which covers three fourths of Montana. It is a beautiful and well kept place. After a short career of nursing Lois Lasnik married a rich doctor. She has just returned from a vacation in the French Riveria. She's making a modern marriage of it, no children. Lois, Laura Cozzens and Sonya Ball own the Triple Bar Q Dude Ranch ten miles from Phoenix, Arizona. Gaylen Alexander is one of the top television and radio repairmen in the state. He and his family live in Grand Junction, Colorado. Naoma Ackerman is married to a Five Star General and has four adorable children. At the present they are living in Hawaii where her husband is stationed. Bob Conley, M. D. has made a tremendous success of his doctor's career. He is a renowned heart surgeon. Dorothy Simonton is married and living in an army camp with Jay who has been promoted to Captain of Company 1025. Olin Sundberg has a fine job with the Red Heart Dog Food Company as company lawyer. Red Heart is now going great. After leaving high school Doris Zulian went to Italy where she took up ballet. She is now a famous prima ballerina and is performing in Radio City, New York. Pome Camilletti is now head wrestling coach at the new Milner High School. He enjoys his work and his team is one of the best in the valley. Anna Mae Fredrickson has a well known beauty shop in Hayden. Her styles are the latest from Paris. Edward Wilson is the basketball coach for the Harlem Globe Trotters. At the time I saw them they were in Madison Square Gardens playing the Kentucky Wildcats. Leroy Kuchler is playing his French Horn in Tommy Dorsey's famous dance orchestra, Alfonso Ruiz is the famous clown in the Ringly Brothers Circus you have been hearing so much about. He’s really a clown! Berniel Zabel is the new Plymouth dealer in Craig. He just sold Ronnie Gilland a new Plymouth. Dawn Ranger is a confirmed bachelor. She is working as an army nurse in Hawaii.
