Senior Class History Here we are, Seniors, nearing the end of our high school days, but still remembering the day in 1946 when twenty-four eager Freshmen began their high school days. They were: Vincent Aaker, Frank Adomaitis, Don- na Bader, Joan Beaulieu, Tommy Byers, Henry Gluza, Shirley Hvass, Harold Johnson, Theresa Kraimer, Burton Leikvoll, Lois McLella.n, Irene Plaza, Nancy Poore, Annette Potter, Fred Purdum, Russell Shanahan, Carl Sokolowski, Jennie Sokolowski, Mary Swentonowski, Ray Winter, Roy Winter, Mary Lou Wishowski, and Phyllis Zastrow. During the year, three of our classmates left us: Irene Plaza, Fred Purdum, and Jennie Sokolowski. The class offices were held as follows: President ................,...........,......... Annette Potter Vice President .,.... ..,... M ary Lou Wishowski Secretary ............ ,................. P hyllis Zastrow Treasurer ...............................,.,.... Vincent Aaker The main event of the year was the initiation by the Sophomores which we all took as good sports, and in return gave them a party. A tofboggan party was held north of Kennan. Our I-irst year ended with a picnic at Somo Lake. After a vacation of three months, we returned . . . this time as Sopho- mores. We immediately took the opportunity of getting revenge on the Freshmen. That we did, and they didn't look the same jolly Freshmen when it was finished. Our enrollment for this year was as follows: Vincent Aaker, Frank Adomaitis, Donna Bader, Tommy Byers, Henry Gluza, Shirley Hvass, Harold Johnson, Theresa Kraimer, Burton Leikvoll, Lois McLellan, Nancy Poore, Annette Potter, Russell Shanahan, Mary Swentonowski, Ray Winter, Roy Winter, Mary Lou Wishowski, and Phyllis Zastrow. Shortly after school began, Mary Swentonowski left us, but we were joined by Joyce Mandy. The class oiifices were held as follows: President .,..........................,..... Russell Shanahan Vice President ..... ....... M ary Lou Wishowski Secretary ,.,.,.... . .......... Theresa Kraimer Treasurer .............,............,............. Nancy Poore The main event of the year was the initiation of the Freshmen. Time passed and then we came back as Juniors. We were no longer considered lower classmen. Some of our classmates left us. They were: Frank Adomaitis, Henry Gluza, and Theresa Kraimer. This left our happy lot at sixteen The class offices were held as follows: President .,........,....,............... ....... V incent Aaker Vice President ..... ..... P hyllis Zastrow Secretary ,.,,,,,.,,,,,.,,,,..,. ....,. ...... A I1 nette POtte1' Treasurer ,,..,,,,,,,,,..,,,,.,,...,.............. Donna Bader The main events which took place during the year were the class play and the Junior Prom, both of which were a great success. Now we are Seniors and are waiting and enjoying our last high school
