We fill our days with activities that include mixing up strange, evil-smelling concoctions in chemistry, strug- gling with complicated physics problems, transporting ourselves to Paris, Rome, Ma- drid, or Berlin in our foreign language classes, and exploring the world of imagin- ary numbers, parabolas, and hyperbolas in math classes. In addition, we try to recon- struct America's past in United States His- tory classes, and we explore areas of art, science and history for our long themes, the highlight of our Senior English classes. Such exams as the Mathematics Association of America tests, Follege Board Aptitude and Achievement tests, and National Merit Schol- arship Tests prepare us for college.
