Very few players were lost last year through graduation. Returnlgg lettermen are: Cecil Cordahl, David Hanson, Stewart Sander, Guy Mldtbo, Arlelgh Bjerke, Arden Johnson, Dale Ness, David Holter, and Johnny Flnstad. Hatton is also expected to have another very successful season in track. Last year's season was very goody especially the record-breaking running og Fjslmer Pederson, speedy sprinter for Hatton. Returning lettermen are: Elroy Cnstad and Arlelgh Bjerke, Javelin, Stewart Sander, high hurdlesg Hjalmer Ped- erson, 100, 220, and 440 yard dashes and the 880 yard relay: Melvin Larson, 440 dash and B80 relay and the half mile, and David Hanson, 100, 220, 440 yard dashes and the B80 yard relay. 24

Cn February 29, in the district 2 tournament at Mayville State Teachers College, Hatton beat the Hills- boro 'Burroa', 46-54. In the semi-finale Hatton edged the Portland 'P1rateeN, 45-41. In the battle for the championship, the Flyers came from behind to dump the Finley nWlldcats', 44-56. This was the first win for Hatton against Finley in three games.
