Homecoming was a great success! We played the Rugby Panthers and won by a score of 12-0. Diane Lockrem was chosen as our 1973-1974 Homecoming Queen at the coronation on Thursday night. We had nice wea- ther on Friday for the parade, which went beautifully. The Seniors won the float and banner competition. Friday after the game, the dance was held in the school commons area, with Chateau providing the music. The theme for 1974 Sno-Fest was On Top of the World. Colors were hot pink, lime green, and white. Sno-Fest activities began with Coronation on February 21, 1974. The old king and queen, Mike Richter and Kandis Leibelt, crowned Mike Seltvedt and Carla Kessler as the new 1974 Sno-Fest king and queen. Other members of the royalty court were: Senior candidates - Scott Swang, Debbie Schmitz, Junior candidates - Nick Hertz, Paul Bentz, Juliette Hageman, Cindy Zeigler, Sophomore Attendants - Mike Stumpf, Debbie Lien, Freshman Attendants - Devra Feickert, Beth Bauer, Foreign Exchange Students - Kris Fast, Peter Kern. The Hornets were defeated by Langdon in their Sno-Fest game. The final event was the Sno-Fest dance held February 23 with music provided by Bowl Full. 21
