Cross Country Team The newly formed cross country team was inexperienced this year but can look forward to a more successful season next year. 24

Track This years track season was mostly one of learning for the boys. The team is made up most- ly of underclassmen, all who are looking forward to a more success- ful season next year. The Sophomore tracksters took top honors at an invitational meet at Rugby so the future looks bright. FIRST ROW: Coach Halverson, K. Fix, C. Vetch, J. Schwertzer, P. Bieniek, K. Richardson, P. The girl's track team had a very successful season. Three trophies were brought home and they took 2nd in their district. Seven girl's qualified for state in mine events, and four of these girls placed. Cathy Berg took 2nd in the hurdles and the 440 relay team consisting of Sheila Mitzel, Rhonda Bringgold, Cathy Berg, and Candice Kost, took 4th. FIRST ROW: Debbie Werlinger, J. Meir, J. Schall, K.
