The Hornet's Buzz was a member of the Northern Interscholastic Press Association at U.N.D. In October delegates were sent to the North Dakota Student Council Convention held in Jamestown. This spring a Bermuda Day was sponsored by the Student Council; students were permitted to wear Bermuda shorts to school on condition that they purchase a license from the Student Council. Those who didn't have a license were subject to punishment by a Kangaroo Court. The Student Council, our newest organization, has put up a suggestion box to be used by the students of Harvey High and has generally tried to represent the students throughout this past year.
