There is truth in the caption, Hard work pays off . The boys have put in a lot of hard work, but they have had many rewards from it. The Hornets were Conf- erence champs and District champs. This is the first year that the championship in both tourneys has been won by the same school. The Hornets placed second in the Regional. They came through with a very fine showing. Although we didn't go to the top in the State, I think we can be proud of the boys and the coach for the fine sea- son they've shown us and had for themselves.
