Holding-driver ' s license in hand, a sophomore stands in awe of the new driving rule, which states that only Juniors and Seniors can drive for the 1987-88 school year. Feeling cheated, the sixteen year old can be heard complaining and proclaiming this rule as unfair. But if we can drive wherever we please, why can ' t we drive to school?, asked a sophomore who received his license earlier than most. Juniors and seniors are allowed to drive, and though the freshmen and sophomores are unable to drive, they too will one day be allowed to drive to school. I can understand how the school would not want sophomores driving to school, but if a tenth grader is sixteen and has a license, a special pass should be given to them if they ' re in a sport or after school activity. - Sandy O ' Donnell I agree that sophomores should not drive to school because I wouldn ' t be able to anyways. UNITY IS EVERYWHERE They weren ' t new coming in. They ' re not soon going out. They ' re not the upcoming seniors. They are the sophomore class. Some people may say that it ' s an unimportant class, but the sophomores will tell you otherwise. I think the class of 1990 has a lot of potential for the years to come. Most of our class participates in everything we do, be- cause we like to see a job well done. I think these past two years have gone great, but the best is yet to come. - President, Michelle Evenson We ' re the best - Ethan Hawker Our class is wonderful. It ' s full of spirit and is bound together by love. - Craig Bor- kowski Our class used to be closer but some of them have broken away. I hope that in the years to come we can become as close as we were. - Phil Sandula The class of 1990 is a really close knit class, almost like family. We support each other in sports, class activities, and personal problems. We have a lot of potential to make an impact in this school, and I think we will. - Becky DesAutel The sophomore class is a very unified group and they show their love for each oth- er with great enthusiasm.
