OFFICERS LEADERSHIP While flipping through a standard college dictionary, I found the definition of leadership. It read, Ability to lead, exert authority, etc. , but this word has many more aspects to it. I ' ve also found that numerous clubs in our school have demonstrated qualities of a leader. Along with a leader comes many responsibilities, including mak- ing changes, taking chances, and feeling confident with the deci- sions they have made. A leader does what he aspires without fear of rejection or being ridiculed. Many clubs in Hartland High have fulfilled roles as leaders. They have participated in helping with the Special Olympics, feeding hungry families during Christmastime, and donating blood for those in need. Though these are just a few of the many activities, there are many other exciting and necessary events students can take part in. Even if your best friend may not want to join the chess or stamp collectors club, as do you, be a leader and join the club that interests you. You might even look back and find a few friends following you! German Officers Front Row: N Callaghan. R. Riedel, 2nd Row: M. Prater. A. Kortge, M. Lewek. 3rd Row: A. Kotz. S. Hirchert, H.
