Then came our Junior year. We added four more to our class--Janyce Clarke, Ed Fallon and Pearl Raffensperger, and Vernon Zandt. Many familiar faces were missing. Lamont Brine, Chuck Gerbensky, Mary Griesmezg John Lauber, Betsy Berg- wall, Jane Penn, Bette Peterson, Beverly, Johnson, Nancy Ward and Jerry Washburn. During the year Dorothy Jones and Ruth Wallschlager and Vernon Zandt left. Our officers for that year were: PRESIDENT ----------- VERNON ZANDT VICE PRESIDENT ----- JANYCE CLARKE SECRETARY --------- K ATHLEEN FLYNN TREASURER ---------- JOHN DUSTRUDE Our advisors were Miss Rom and Mr. Ructenwald. This year we had a Studeni Council. Jerry Kraus and Margaret Hansel were our class representatives and Bill Chapman was elected our Student Body President. Our first job for the year was the Homecoming Dance and shortly after we began making plans for the Prom. Oux theme was Moonlight and Roses and the hall was decorated with rose coverec trellises andabigmoon and stars peek- ing through the dark blue streamers, and a rock garden with real water am fish. The Eng, John Dustrude, chose fo: his Queen, Lois Laird. George Cerwin and his orchestra provided wonderfui music. Afta' semester exams we had oul class picnic, which was again held a' Iendts. Then came the big year. Now we wer: Seniors. Ib were happy to welcome bacl Betsy 'Bergwall and .Terry Washburn, am also someone new to Hartland, .Toycf Ford, who came from laterford. This year Pearl Raffensperger was ndppreaen' and Audrey Aleiander left after th4 'first six weeks. This year our off- ficers were.
