Under the sponsorship and the guidance of Mrs. Pat Hearn, they strived to produce papers that were stimulating, entertaining and informative. For the first time the newspaper was printed rather than mimeographed, adding to its appeal. The fine cooperation between the staff and the journalism department, has been the main story of the Hi-Lites quality. Al Simmons, Bill Blanchard, Ralph Smith, Kathy Library Club Promotes Interest ln Literature Harrison's Library Club spent the first part of the year helping to organize the library at the new school. The members spent long hours working in the library helping their fellow students find and check out books. With the help of sponsor Mrs. Esther Lu Lasher, they filed the card catal- ogue and arranged books. A trip to the Air Force Academy Library was one of the first activities. Others in- cluded a skating party and a tour of the Museum of Natural History in Denver. Librarian Mrs. Esther Lu Lasher also served as the library club sponsor.
